New!  Alligator Management Program staff will be hosting a workshop for public input on draft rule changes governing the Alligator Farming and Private Lands Alligator Management Programs (detailed below).  The workshop is scheduled on May 29 from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. and will be held in the Auditorium of the Doyle Connor Building, Division of Plant Industry, 1911 SW 34 Street, Gainesville, FL 32608.External Website  All interested persons and stakeholders are encouraged and welcome to attend.

New! The Commission is considering changes to the rules that govern Alligator Farming and Private Lands Alligator Management Programs.  To review a background report and draft rule language, please access the Meeting Agenda for the June 2013 Commission Meeting.  We value your thoughts and input, and would welcome any you may have by sending them to Harry.Dutton@MyFWC.com.

Updated! The application period for the random drawing to assign permits for the Statewide Alligator Harvest Program has ended.  When the drawing has been completed, you can check your application status by logging in to the recreational license system.External Website  For persons who did not apply or who are not successful in the random drawing, Phase II of the alligator harvest permit issuance process will begin on June 7.
