Partner Programs

Through partnerships with public and private organizations and other government agencies, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is able to offer these highly successful programs that promote and encourage fishing, hunting and the responsible stewardship of our natural resources.

Hooked on Fishing - Not on Drugs offers an angling workshop in which participants receive instructor's guides and student materials.

Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation offers the popular Passport to Fishing & Boating.  The Passport program is hands-on and features activities in boating, fishing and aquatic stewardship. Children compete for awards, prizes and scholarships in the Bassmaster CastingKids program.

NUMWORDS JAKES, sponsored by the National Wild Turkey Federation, introduces young people to the joy of the outdoors through supervised, hands-on activities at special events and of course, the amazing wild turkey. On Buckmaster's Young Bucks Outdoors Web site, children share hunting stories and photos. Ducks Unlimited's Junior Greenwings teaches conservation, restoration and management of North America's waterfowl habitats.

Ladies, Let's Go Fishing gives women an opportunity to fish with other women while they learn fishing skills - casting, tying knots and rigging baits - as well as conservation ethics.

The Monofilament Recovery & Recycling Program educates the public about the problems caused by improperly discarded monofilament line and encourages recycling and volunteer cleanup events.

Our mission: Managing fish and wildlife resources for their long-term well-being and the benefit of people.
