The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) announce two PUBLIC HEARINGS for the FWC Lead Managed Portions of Lake Wales Ridge Wildlife and Environmental Area located in Highlands and Polk Counties, Florida.

PURPOSE:  To receive public comment regarding considerations for FWC’s ten-year Management Plan for the FWC Lead Managed Portions of Lake Wales Ridge Wildlife and Environmental Area (LWRWEA).

This hearing is being held EXCLUSIVELY for discussion of the DRAFT Lake Wales Ridge WEA Management Plan. This meeting is not being held to discuss area hunting or fishing regulations.
