Bully Netting Workshops:

The public is invited to attend one of three public workshops on commercial bully netting for spiny lobster scheduled for February. At these workshops, FWC will gather stakeholder input on commercial license requirements, commercial harvest limits and other potential management measures.

Workshop schedule (all are from 6 to 8 p.m. EST):

  • Feb. 23: Key West, Harvey Government Center – BOCC Room, 1200 Truman Ave.
  • Feb. 24: Key Colony Beach, City Hall, 600 West Ocean Drive
  • Feb. 26: Key Largo, Murray Nelson Government Center – Auditorium, 102050 Overseas Highway

 


Barracuda Workshops:
The public is invited to attend one of three public workshops on barracuda scheduled for late February and early March. At these workshops, FWC will gather stakeholder input on potential commercial and recreational bag limits, size limits, gear restrictions, region-specific regulations and other related management options for barracuda.

Workshop schedule (all are from 6 to 8 p.m. EST):

  • Feb. 25: Key Colony Beach, City Hall, 600 West Ocean Drive
  • March 3: Dania Beach, International Game Fish Association Fishing Hall of Fame and Museum, 300 Gulf Stream Way
