Hunting Regulation Changes - Deer Management Units (DMUs)

Would you like a say in how white-tailed deer populations are managed in Florida? The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) has been working on a framework for you to do just that! This framework is based on Deer Management Units(DMUs).

The process involves gathering public preferences for deer management through surveys, public meetings and technical assistance groups and then proposing changes based on this input.  The FWC has finished the initial public input process and now have proposals for Zone A, B and C.  Make sure you review the proposals and take the survey!

If you hunt in Zone D, learn about new rules implementing greater antler regulations and changes to the antlerless deer season for the 2014-2015 season.
