PotashCorp - White Springs WMA

This management area is on phosphate mining land in Hamilton County. The mined phosphate pits on this area provide attractive duck habitat for a variety of species. The area open to public hunting is administered by the FWC through the Lake City regional office (386-758-0525). This area has special regulations and is open to hunting only on certain days: refer to the area brochure for details.

The FWC is lead manager or landowner on about 1.1 million acres of Florida's Wildlife Management Area (WMA) system. More than 5.8 million acres of land are open for public hunting.
