Scalloping: You need a saltwater fishing license to scallop from shore or a vessel, unless you qualify for an exemption.
We are excited to be transitioning to a new recreational licensing system!
The RLIS system has been designed with you in mind. Over the years we’ve received a lot of feedback on how we can improve, and have incorporated this feedback into the design of RLIS making it much more user-friendly than the old system.
We expect you to be very pleased with the new RLIS system and appreciate your patience throughout this transition.
