Florida's Limited Entry/Quota Hunt Programs offer quality public hunting opportunities and prevent overcrowding and control the harvest of game on wildlife management areas (WMAs). This page describes the various permits and tells you when and how to apply.
Read the WMA brochure
for the area(s) you plan to hunt to find out about specific permit requirements and seasons on those areas.
The hunt permit types listed below are links to the permit information pages, applications and worksheets that explain the hunt choices and how and when to apply for each limited entry permit.
Before Applying for Quota/Limited Entry Hunt Permits...
Carefully read, print, and complete an application worksheet for each hunt. These documents are in PDF format. Download the free Adobe Reader software
.
Apply online
or take your completed instruction sheet (worksheet) to the county tax collector's office
or any license agent and they will apply for you.

Drawing results are typically posted within about two weeks after the end of the Application period.
Printing your permit: If awarded, some limited entry/quota permits are no longer mailed and must either be printed directly from the website or picked up at a license agent. You can print your permit or save the file on your computer to print it later.
