The recreational harvest season for bay scallops
closes on Sept. 11. This harvest closure helps to protect and
conserve Florida's bay scallop resources.
The harvest season for bay scallops will reopen
next year on July 1 in designated areas along Florida's Gulf of
Mexico coast.
