Patas monkey sighted in Williston

FWC is asking for the public's assistance if the animal is spotted, because the monkey can be dangerous to anyone who might try to handle it.  

Hunter safety Internet completion course offered in Alachua Co.

The course will be at the Cleather Hancock Recreation Center. Instruction will take place Jan. 27 from 6 to 9 p.m. 

Hunter safety Internet completion course offered in Baker Co.

The course will be at the Dowling Building in Olustee. Instruction will take place Feb. 12 from 8 a.m. to noon, with the range portion from 1 p.m. until complete at the Osceola Gun Range in Lake City.

The course will be at the Bradford-Union Area Career Technical Center in Starke. Instruction will take place Feb. 17.
