Family fishing day offered at Tuscawilla Park

For some real family fun, head over to Tuscawilla Park in Ocala
on Saturday, April 2, from 8 a.m. until noon, for the 11th annual
Free Family Fishing Day.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the
city of Ocala and Miller's Marine present the family-oriented
There will be a special area just for kids, where the FWC will
stock channel catfish raised at the Florida Bass Conservation
"Although we call the sport 'fishing' and not 'catching,'
there's a pretty good chance of pulling in a nice catfish during
the event," said Marty Hale, the FWC's regional freshwater
