The Orange Lake boat ramp at Heagy Burry County Park will reopen
Oct. 10. The ramp has been temporarily closed for repairs and
improvement by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation
Commission (FWC), in conjunction with Marion County Parks and
Recreation.
The public boat ramp on Lake Bryant at Lake Bryant Mobile Home
and RV Park in the Ocala National Forest has reopened. The FWC
replaced the ramp, improved the parking lot and stabilized the
adjacent shoreline. The ramp is the only one that provides access
to the excellent bass and bream fishing lake.
These improvements were funded by the FWC through the U.S. Fish
and Wildlife Service, Sport Fish Restoration - Boat Access Program.
