Nuisance alligator trappers needed for Orange Co.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is accepting applications for contracted nuisance alligator trappers in Orange County.

Applicants must reside in Orange County, have a clean criminal history and no fish and wildlife violations.

Preference will be given to those Orange County applicants who live west of Semoran Boulevard (State Road 436), north of S.R. 50 and west of Orange Avenue (S.R. 527).

FWC Facts:
Whooping cranes mate for life, but they will take a new mate after the loss of the original. The pair will return to use and defend the same nesting and wintering territory year after year.
