Nuisance alligator trappers needed for Lake Co.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is accepting applications for contracted nuisance alligator trappers in south Lake County.

Applicants must reside in Lake County; have a valid, working email address; a clean criminal history; and no fish-and-wildlife law violations. Preference will be given to applicants who live south of the Florida Turnpike.

FWC Facts:
Manatees can travel up to 50 miles in a day. They generally swim slowly but have been clocked at speeds of up to 15 mph for short bursts.
