Nuisance alligator trappers sought for Manatee Co.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s (FWC) Statewide Nuisance Alligator Program is accepting applications for contracted nuisance alligator trappers in Manatee County.

Applicants must have a clean criminal history, no fish or wildlife law violations and a valid, working email address. Applicants must reside in Manatee County.

Applications must be received by Monday, April 22.

FWC Facts:
Numerous marine species, like blue crabs, redfish, white shrimp, stingrays, tarpon, are found more than 100 miles upstream in the freshwater portions of the St. Johns River.
