Species inventory

The Coral Reef/Hardbottom Monitoring Project also collects data the old-fashioned way, using a data sheet printed on under water paper. Scientists look for coral species inside our sampling stations and check mark the ones that are present.

FWC Facts:
Wood stork nestlings are fully feathered and capable of short flights at about 7-8 weeks of age but are not independent of their parents until they are 9-10 weeks old.
