Manatee Rescue on August 24, 2009

Manatee rescuers (L-R) Nadia Gordon, Martine deWit and Erin Chancey keep an injured manatee's skin moist while they transport the animal from the mouth of the St. Marks River, south of Tallahassee, to Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa for rehabilitation and eventual return to the wild.
