Calico Scallop Argopecten gibbus

Calico scallops are most common along the east coast of Florida, Tampa Bay to the Keys, and some parts of the panhandle. Calico scallops can grow up to 2.7", with 19-20 ribs, and occur in a variety of colors including white, yellow, red, orange, and gray with a mottled pattern.
