Home : Special Season : Dove : How to Buy a Permit Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation CommissionHow and where to purchase a license for the 2008-2009 seasonSpecial-opportunity Dove Club permits are $150, and will be available beginning 10:00 a.m. (Eastern Time) on July 1 to 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Time) on September 9 at any tax collector's office, licensed subagent, online, or by calling (toll free) 1-888-HUNT-FLORIDA {(888) 486-8356}. You will need to have an application worksheet completed before starting. When you have completed your application worksheet, you may present it to any license agent, tax collector or the toll free telephone number and the clerk will submit the application for you and hand you your permit (allow 10 days for delivery of the permit if you apply using the toll free number or online). If you are a Florida resident and choose to apply online, you must have a valid Florida Drivers License issue for at least 6 months. You cannot apply online with a Florida ID or Florida Only driver’s license. Once you are at the application web site select "License or Permit Purchase". You will see a list of all available license and permits. Scroll to the bottom of the list, under "Specialty License" you will find the Dove Club or Daily Dove Permits. Choose the permit you want and you will be directed to select an area for the Dove Club or a hunt for the Daily Dove. Daily dove applicants will be given the opportunity to add a youth to their permit. Put the permit you select in the shopping cart and check out. Lifetime license holders who purchased their licenses before July 1, 1998 can obtain a Special-Opportunity Dove Club or Daily Dove Hunt Permit free-of-charge. |
