Open/Closed Status of FWC-managed areas

Severe weather or other circumstances have affected areas as described below.
 

FWC Offices

  • No closings.

Wildlife Management Areas, Wildlife & Environmental Areas, etc.

  • Belmore WMA – Due to hazardous flooding conditions and to ensure public safety, the Florida Forest Service has temporarily closed Spring Road and portions of Raccoon Road to vehicle use. This closure will be effective until the FFS reopens these area roads to public vehicle use.
     

  • Tiger Bay WMA - The Florida Forest Service will be doing road work on Dukes Island Road beginning April 16. This road will be temporarily closed for construction and rehabilitation. (04/08/13)
     
  • Apalachicola River WEA - Bean Field Road and Johnson's End Road are closed until further notice due to high water. (03/05/13)
