In support of the resource management goals and
objectives for the area and to provide a quality experience for all
area users, the following recreation activities are allowed.
White Tailed Deer
Hunting of deer and turkey is limited to short,
high-quality hunts. Since there is not much hunting pressure on the
deer herd, bucks have the opportunity to mature. Fifteen
special-opportunity permits ($175 each) are available by
application for each of two deer hunts. Ten special-opportunity
permits ($175 each) are available by application for each of three
turkey hunts. Quail hunting is also good on Triple N Ranch.
You may spot a gopher tortoise, a white-tailed deer
or a group of wild turkeys along the road's edge. Request a copy or download or print
the Triple N Ranch Bird
List . Visit the Wildlife page for
more information about the area's wildlife.
Hiking access gate year-round; no hiking during
special opportunity hunts; miles of well-marked loop roads. A
new 7-mile loop hiking trail, constructed by the Florida Trail
association offers a 4 to 8 hour hiking session. The trail is
well marked, but the terrain is very uneven and much of the trail
is wet during the summer and fall. Other shorter hiking
trails are planned for the near future.

special opportunity hunts; 16-17 miles of well-marked loop roads.
